We should do some chatting and see if we can't come up with a class we're all interested in attending next year. I say next year because classes can get spendy, and that should give everyone enough time to scrape together the cash and free some time to attend.
Where do we start?
I say either Modern Samurai or Sage Dynamics
I'm game for pretty much anything. Where's it gonna be? Des Moines or Sioux City area?
I think we should hit up the uspc deal down at crossroads next month. Not a class, but would get us into it
Last night's episode gave me the itch again for a good medical class. How's everyone feel about a Dark Angel Medical class? Usually run around $400 and two days. They're only scheduled out to December right now, with the closest being in Wichita, KS. I forget if it was this year or not, but they have held classes in Lincoln, Nebraska before, so they do get up in this area sometimes.
Personally I think that's something I need the most, because I don't know a God damn thing about medical.
Dark Angel looks like a solid class. It covers just about everything we do in the military for self-aid-buddy care and those measures have been found to be very effective in adverse conditions.
@nukesmurphy From what I hear, they're about the most trusted, quality class of their kind.
@box excellent choice then! I wish more people would get this kind of training! Bonus points if you can get a discount code for their kits when you attend a class!
@nukesmurphy I believe they offer their standard kit for $150, normally $200, when you sign up for a class. And also you can get 25% off your first order as well, but I don't know if that applies to classes. Sounds like it does.
So with that 25% off, if you order a kit along with your class, you'd be almost getting the kit for free.
Should we just plan on hitting up the one in Wichita? April 9-10, 2022, $420
Or do we wait until something is closer?
I'm still getting my medical training from the AF. So I'm out, but I fully support you guys doing this!
I am wanting to go do a weeklong class at Gunsite in AZ. I would be open to either pistol or rifle or, if they have one, a combo pistol/rifle class...Anyone else?

I'd be down to go to Wichita Box, but is it gonna be worth it when there's closer classes?
@sam I'm not really bargain shopping when it comes to this stuff. I know Dark Angel is top tier. I don't know anything about other classes. And like I said, they might have a closer class later in the year. But sooner is better.
